We will continue holding our ImpactPHL Conversations on innovative ideas with local and national thought leaders who are navigating the forefront of impact investing.

In 2025, we plan to shift our ImpactPHL Socials to build trust with in-person engagement and complex conversations about how to think through and take action on place-based investment solutions that impact our city and region.

Two Locals Brewing Co.

During Black History Month, we will gather in the first Black-owned brewery in Pennsylvania — created by two owners/brothers Richard and Mengistu Koilor — who held a passion for the craft of brewing.

Mengistu was born in Liberia and came to this city when he was 7 years old. Richard was born and raised here in Philadelphia. They hold two sides of culture, brewing their local history in Philadelphia.

On top of the many brews, they provide local wine, cocktails, and a menu from Liberty Kitchen. Two Locals Brewing Co. opened in 2024, so they are one year into navigating their entrepreneurial venture.
