This Event is Co-Hosted by ImpactPHL and Impact for Breakfast

Across the United States, women-owned companies are making a great impact on our planet as well as our economy, but they are often underfunded. A Columbia Business School research report in 2019, found that while female-led ventures are equally likely to successfully IPO or are acquired, they are less likely to receive VC funding. This fact was confirmed in a 2020 Harvard Research Report that found women-led startups received only 2.3% of venture funding but were more profitable than their male counterparts.

Our panelists, will share their collective experiences and discuss the importance of investing in women-owned businesses.
